14_Mountains and Seas, A Chinese Rock Musical

Mountains and Seas is a musical based on the eponymous script by Gao Xingjian, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature. The musical is produced by the NTNU Graduate Institute of Performing Arts and Bachelor Degree Program of Performing Arts, with music and lyrics by Chris Babida and Le-Rong Chen respectively. Alumni, graduate students, and undergraduate students are the stars of the show. Together, they will present an interpretation of an ancient myth, in which rock music is the medium for the emotions and conflicts of mythological characters.
