Franz Chen’s life has long been associated with creativity. He created the Seagull Group and has worked in the international gift industry for more than 30 years. He started his brand Franz Collection in 2001. In 2012, Franz Chen was chosen by Forbes China as one of 25 Influential Chinese in Global Fashion. In the same year, he was chosen by Ernst & Young as Entrepreneur of the Year 2012 of Taiwan and represented Taiwan to compete in the global entrepreneur contest. In 2014, He received the first “Presidential Innovation Award” in Taiwan.
Franz Collection combines technology and culture and develops its 3-D porcelain material and printing machine. In the future this brand will collaborate with Industrial applications such as biomedicine, ICT, and semiconductor, bringing more possibilities and opportunities to the ceramic industry.

Title: Brand and Style Marketing
Dr. Chia Wu is currently the Deputy Program Director of M.S.Sc. in Corporate Communication, the School of Journalism and Communication, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the co-convener of the Taipei Fashion Week 2020-2022, the author of 《Style Marketing》, and the host/producer of “istylemarketing.com” website. With a long-term focus on corporate social responsibility (CSR), she has initiated and hosted the Greater China “CSR Communication and Sustainability Forums” six times since 2016, serving as the organizer and convener. Dr. Wu also serves as a marketing & USR consultant for the Experimental Forest Management Office of National Taiwan University.
She specializes in brand building and management, user behavior in new media and digital communication, cultural and creative planning, corporate sustainable development and resource integration. She also served as the convener of the 2019 Taipei Fashion Week “International Fashion Summit Forum.” Previous positions include Vice President of Branding Center, Syntrend Park, General Manager of Communications, Chanel Taiwan, External Affairs Head of SKII/MaxFactor, P&G Greater China, Marketing and Public Relations Director of Taiwan Chrysler Corporation, etc.
Dr. Wu has both theoretical and practical background, rich experience in industry and academia, as well as profound transnational and cross-cultural experience.
